Partner & Responsible Investment Manager, Senior Analyst

Mike is Munro Partners’ Responsible Investment Manager, leading the development and integration of responsible investment practices into investment decision-making. Mike is also a Senior Investment Analyst, championing stock ideas and helping manage positions across all the Munro investment strategies, with an additional focus on the climate strategy and Area of Interest.

Mike has around 15 years of experience in responsible investment. He previously worked at the Australian Council of Superannuation Investors, representing asset owners with over A$1 trillion in funds under management. There he led engagement on a range of issues with Australian listed companies, as well as providing voting advice and undertaking research. Before ACSI, Mike was a Senior ESG Analyst at the Future Fund, Australia’s sovereign wealth fund, which manages over A$300b.

Mike is also a lecturer at the University of Melbourne. He lectures a subject called Essentials of Sustainable Investment, one of two subjects which he co-founded with an industry colleague.

Mike has degrees with Honours in Commerce and Law from the University of Melbourne and is a Chartered Financial Analyst.
